Shaping Futures, bridging technology and well-being

Our project explores the impact of digital devices on minors' health and behavior. In collaboration with the University of Padova, we aim to identify the nuanced effects of digital exposure to foster healthier digital environments for our youth.

01
STUDY
In an era where over 75% of Italian (pre)adolescents are daily social media users and a significant number engage in video gaming, alongside infants using mobile devices from as early as their first year, the need to explore suitable digital usage guidelines for minors is urgent. Our focus is on determining the appropriate duration and mode of digital interaction for each age group, ensuring a balanced digital life.
02
ANALYZE
Our project aspires to develop a robust framework that is both scientifically substantiated and pedagogically sound, aiming to distill the essence of our research into a coherent structure. By translating complex research outcomes into practical insights, we envision a tool that can guide educational policy and strategy.
03
IMPLEMENT
Our research aims to foster digital wellbeing by creating a parental control model that encourages minors to cultivate a healthy relationship with technology. This model will promote proper digital habits across various age groups and safeguard minors from exposure to inappropriate web content.
04
EDUCATE
Promoting digital education that prioritizes wellbeing equips young people to benefit from technology mindfully, without letting it overshadow their real-world connections. Fostering this digital equilibrium is fundamental to meaningful engagement with the youth in educational and familial spheres alike.
